I teach math at Wilson Middle School in Moline, Illinois. I have a wife Leslie, and four children: Kenzie, Logan, Madi, and Lylah. If I am not working or running my kids to their extra curricular activities, I’m watching the Cubs, Bears, and Blackhawks. If I’m not doing any of those things, I’m probably reading.
I write this blog because I feel that one of the best things for teachers to do is regularly reflect upon their teaching. This blog forces me to do that and helps me organize my thoughts and allows me to return to those thoughts at later times to see how my teaching has changed. I also believe that, through discussion, we all will become better teachers. Please comment on anything you read here so we can all discuss and grow.
